What Transcript Help Does

Transcript help can turn recordings into editable text.

Transcript help is optional. Eva Pregnancy Journal can still be used without transcript help.

Voice recordings can remain saved in the app, and you can still keep journal notes, appointments, visit summaries, and exports without using transcript help.

Manual Transcript Option

You can create or edit transcripts manually.

Manual notes remain supported.

Manual transcript entry is the fallback when transcript help is not available, when a transcript fails, or when you do not want a recording to be processed for transcript help.

When Recordings May Be Processed

If transcript help is enabled and available, recordings may be processed to create transcript text.

Only recordings that you choose for transcript help should be processed.

Recordings are not automatically uploaded when the app opens, refreshes, or when internet access becomes available.

Transcript Limitations

Transcripts can contain mistakes.

Transcripts can miss words, misunderstand names, use the wrong language or script, or leave out important details.

Review important details before relying on transcripts or sharing them.

Transcripts are not medical records and are not medical advice.

Visit Summary Use

Transcript text may be used to help organize discussion points and visit preparation.

Discussion points and Visit Summary content are organizational tools based on saved notes and transcripts.

They do not provide medical advice, treatment instructions, risk assessment, scan interpretation, lab interpretation, or emergency guidance.

Review Before Sharing

Review transcript content before sharing it with healthcare professionals.

Correct anything that is incomplete, inaccurate, or missing important context.

The app can help organize saved information, but you decide what to keep, edit, share, or discuss with healthcare professionals.

Future Offline Or Online Transcription

Transcript methods may change in future versions. Future versions may use different offline or online transcript processing methods.

If transcript behavior changes, the app's consent copy and privacy information should be updated before the change is released.
