About Eva

Eva Pregnancy Journal is a private pregnancy journal and appointment-preparation companion. It helps you keep pregnancy memories, notes, voice recordings, transcripts, appointments, discussion points and visit summaries.

Eva Pregnancy Journal is developed and published by Binny John Pulchimankal Ediculla John. Google Play developer/display name: Evasmartfix.

Android v1.0.0 (14) does not require a user-created account or sign-in. It has no advertising or analytics and does not initialize payments. Protected cloud AI requests use Firebase Anonymous Authentication and Firebase App Check / Play Integrity.

Information Stored On Your Device

Depending on the features you use, Eva may store the following information locally:

• pregnancy profile and timeline information;
• journal entries, typed notes and memories;
• voice and audio recordings saved by Eva;
• transcripts and transcript status;
• appointment dates, times, doctor or clinic details and appointment notes;
• discussion points, visit summaries and doctor-preparation material;
• app preferences and settings; and
• temporary app-controlled export files.

Android automatic app backup is disabled for Eva. Clearing app data or uninstalling Eva may remove local data.

Eva does not provide a public profile or public community.

Cloud And Network Behavior

Cloud AI help is optional and consent-gated. When you ask Eva to create an AI transcript for a selected recording, Eva sends the selected audio, consent evidence, request metadata and optional language hint through Eva's Cloudflare Worker backend to the configured AI/transcription provider. The Worker is designed not to persist raw audio or transcript text.

Eva may store limited technical quota metadata, such as a pseudonymous Firebase identifier, successful AI transcription timestamps and hashed request identifiers, to provide the free allowance of 2 successful AI transcriptions per rolling 7 days and help prevent abuse. This quota record does not store your audio, transcript text, pregnancy content, Firebase ID token, App Check token, authorization header or OpenAI key.

Information also leaves Eva when you intentionally copy, share, export, open a public website link or contact support. The destination you choose controls its copy.

Microphone And Notifications

Eva requests microphone permission only when you choose to record a voice note. The microphone is not continuously monitored, and recordings remain in app-controlled local storage in this release.

Eva may request notification permission after you choose an appointment reminder. Reminders are scheduled locally and can be controlled in Eva or Android settings.

Data Retention And Deletion

Local data remains on your device until you delete it, clear Eva's app data or uninstall Eva. You can delete supported individual records or use Vault → Privacy and support → Delete all app data to remove supported Eva-controlled local data.

Delete all app data removes supported app-controlled pregnancy timing, journal content, recordings, transcripts, appointments, discussion points, visit summaries, guide/settings state, reminders and controlled temporary exports from the device. It does not guarantee deletion of provider security, integrity, quota or operational records held by Firebase, Cloudflare, OpenAI, Google Play or other service providers. Exported copies remain under the control of the person, app, device or service that received them.

Exports And Sharing

You can choose to copy, share or export summaries and other supported information. Eva does not automatically send visit summaries to a doctor or clinic.

When you share or export information, the destination you choose receives the copy. That recipient's own privacy and retention practices then apply.

Security

No technical system can guarantee absolute security. Protecting information stored locally depends on the security of your device and any destination to which you export or share information.
