What Eva Pregnancy Journal Is

Eva Pregnancy Journal is a private pregnancy journal and doctor-visit preparation helper.

The app helps you save pregnancy notes, voice recordings, transcripts, appointments, and visit summaries so you can keep memories and prepare for appointments.

Eva Pregnancy Journal is not a medical provider. It does not replace your doctor, maternity unit, emergency services, or other healthcare professional.

What Information Can Be Stored

Eva Pregnancy Journal may store information you choose to create or enter, including:

pregnancy timing or profile details;
journal notes and memories;
voice recordings;
transcript text and transcript status;
appointment details, including date, time, doctor or clinic, visit type, and appointment notes;
visit discussion points and visit summaries created from saved notes or transcripts;
exported summaries created by you, including copied text and generated PDF files; and
app settings, such as transcript mode and transcript language.

The app does not currently include login, public profiles, a public community, ads, payments, subscriptions, analytics, or cloud sync.

Where Information Is Stored

Pregnancy notes, recordings, transcripts, appointments, visit summaries, and app settings are primarily stored in app-controlled storage on your device.

Voice recordings are saved locally as audio files in the app's storage. Transcript text and appointment information are saved locally with the related app data.

On Android, automatic app backup is disabled for the MVP because the app stores sensitive pregnancy notes, recordings, transcripts, and visit information.

Data you copy, share, export, paste, save outside the app, or back up outside the app may be stored by another app, service, or device and is no longer fully controlled by Eva Pregnancy Journal.

Voice Recordings And Transcripts

When you record a voice note, the recording can be saved locally in the app.

Transcripts can be added or edited manually. If transcript help is available and you choose to use it, the resulting transcript is saved back into your journal entry for review.

Transcripts can contain mistakes. They are not medical records and should not be treated as medical advice. Review transcripts before relying on them or sharing them.

Deleting a voice note removes the related app entry and, when available, the local audio file saved by this app.

AI Transcript Help

Transcript help is optional.

User action and consent are required before cloud transcript processing. A saved recording is not automatically uploaded when the app opens, refreshes, or when internet access becomes available.

If AI transcript help is available and you choose to use it, a recording may be sent only to create the transcript. If AI visit preparation is available and you choose AI help, transcript or note text may be sent only to help organize visit discussion points.

Manual transcript entry remains available.

Future transcript methods or service providers may change. This policy should be updated before release if the behavior changes.

Sharing And Exports

You can choose to copy, share, or export summaries from the app.

Current export actions can include:

copying Visit Summary text;
sharing Visit Summary text;
exporting PDF Visit Summary files; and
copying full data export text for review or backup.

Shared or exported content leaves the app only when you choose to copy, share, save, or export it. After content is copied, shared, pasted, exported, or saved outside the app, that destination controls the copy.

The app does not automatically send visit summaries to doctors or clinics.

Deleting Local Data

You can delete supported notes, recordings, transcripts, and appointments from the app.

The app also includes a delete-all action for app-controlled data. Delete-all is intended to remove app settings and saved app data, local recordings saved by this app, and generated PDF exports in the app export folder.

Copies you already shared, exported, pasted, saved, backed up, or sent outside the app may remain outside the app's control.

Deletion behavior should be verified before release and may evolve with future updates.

Privacy Commitments

Eva Pregnancy Journal does not sell pregnancy journal data.

The app does not create advertising profiles from pregnancy journal content.

The MVP does not include a public profile, public community, ads, payments, subscriptions, analytics, backend account, or cloud sync.

If future versions add analytics, cloud backup, sync, payments, subscriptions, or other new data flows, this policy should be updated before those features are released.

Medical Boundary

Eva Pregnancy Journal helps organize your notes.

It does not:

diagnose;
provide treatment advice;
assess risk;
interpret scans or labs;
recommend medications; or
replace medical care.
